    The Central Government is adding 3rd and 4th lines along the Ghaziabad-New Moradabad railway corridor to boost capacity on the route. The project falls under the Delhi and Moradabad divisions and forms part of the larger Ghaziabad-Sitapur line expansion initiative. An EPC tender worth Rs. 37263.4 Million has been floated, with bid submissions open until February 2027.

    A new 106.3-km state expressway (chainage 0+000 to 106+300) is proposed to connect the Bundelkhand Expressway to the Jhansi Defence Industrial Corridor, passing through Jalaun and Jhansi districts of Uttar Pradesh. The alignment crosses the Betwa River twice and passes near Chirgaon Fort, an Army Aviation Base/Aerodrome and Jhansi city.

    Rs.38209 Million greenfield four-lane highway corridor to connect Chitrakoot with Prayagraj via Rajapur in Uttar Pradesh.

    A 49.655-km four-lane, access-controlled greenfield corridor is proposed to connect Chitrakoot with Prayagraj via Rajapur at an estimated cost of Rs. 38209.6 Million. The corridor will bypass congested areas, reduce travel time and vehicle operating costs, and improve connectivity to Chitrakoot Dham while boosting agriculture, trade and tourism. Ministry-level alignment decisions have been taken and inter-departmental coordination for implementation is underway.

    A 2.5 km double-decker elevated road corridor, the first such project in Uttar Pradesh, has been cleared for the stretch between the Delhi-Meerut Expressway and Ek Murti Chowk. The first phase, costing Rs. 7560.1 Million, will be executed based on a detailed project report prepared by NHAI. The project aims to ease chronic traffic congestion linking Greater Noida West with the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, with a second phase planned for the remaining stretch.

    A major airport upgrade has been proposed for Lucknow, centered on a new Integrated Terminal Building (T3) to be built in two phases, along with a runway extension, cargo and logistics hub, MRO facilities, and a proposed fourth terminal. The expansion aims to raise annual passenger handling capacity to approximately 38 Million and position Lucknow as a long-haul aviation and logistics hub. The project is currently at the proposal/masterplan stage.
