    Rs.130 Million Common Effluent Treatment Expansion Plant in Sas Nagar, Punjab

    Punjab Less than 100 Million

    A Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) project in Saidpura, Punjab, is evolving with a Rs.70 million investment. Initially approved in November 2017, the current expansion involves increasing boiler capacity from 10 TPH to 22 TPH, with a total investment of Rs.130 million. The CETP and Common Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) capacities will be 5 MLD and 7 MLD, respectively, divided across Phase-I and Phase-II. The Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change of India has sanctioned the project, now awaiting Expert Appraisal Committee evaluation.
