Rs.132 Million Haz Waste Preprocessing Expansion Project in Solan, Himachal Pradesh
Waste Treatment plans to expand a hazardous waste treatment plant in Majra, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, doubling capacity to 20 lacs MT, costing Rs. 220 million. Environmental clearance for the project commenced in September 2018. As of February 2024, the expansion includes preprocessing capacity for hazardous waste, landfillable hazardous waste, used oil, batteries, and discarded containers, with an investment of Rs. 132.9 million. Consent from state pollution control authorities has been obtained.
