The proposal, categorized as B2 under the EIA Notification 2006, has been accepted and referred to the State Expert Appraisal Committee (SEAC) for review by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Construction is yet to commence, with the project expected to generate around 650 man-days of employment during the construction phase and 350 man-days during operations.

Construction is expected to generate around 100 permanent jobs during the build phase and add over 2,500 permanent jobs once operational.
