Initially proposed in September 2024 with a ₹2,175.649 million investment for 60,600 MTPA of biscuits and rusks, the project received approval by August 2026 for expansion. The expanded setup adds 60,000 MTPA for biscuits/rusks and 9,000 MTPA for cakes, involving an additional ₹1,498 million investment.

Having obtained pollution control clearance in June 2023, the ₹539.4 million investment proposal was submitted to the SIPB Secretariat in July 2025 and secured official state approval in August 2026.

    Bihar's industrial infrastructure agency is developing a new multi-sector industrial estate covering over 400 acres at Nawanagar in Buxar district, intended to house units in food processing, textiles & leather, bio-fuel, general manufacturing, plastics, and logistics/warehousing. The proposal is currently under environmental verification with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with baseline environmental studies already completed. Construction is yet to commence pending grant of Environmental Clearance.
