    A new water aerodrome development project is planned in Swaraj Dweep, Andaman & Nicobar. The project aims to establish a water aerodrome for improved transportation connectivity. The estimated project cost is Rs. 114.1 million. It has been accepted by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and referred to the Expert Appraisal Committee for evaluation.

    A new integrated terminal building is set to be constructed in Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar islands, capable of managing 1,200 passengers during peak hours and up to four million passengers a year. The project is estimated to cost around Rs.70.7 million and is expected to be completed by October 2022, with a range of modern facilities for passengers, such as check-in counters, security checkpoints, and retail and food outlets. The project is aimed at improving the travel experience for passengers and supporting the growth of tourism in the region.
