    Construction has begun on a New Integrated Terminal Building (NITB) at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad, to be built in phases starting alongside the existing domestic terminal (T3 side). The facility is targeted to be operational by 2029-30, with an estimated project cost of over Rs 3,130 crore. The expansion aims to boost passenger handling capacity amid rising traffic at the airport.
