A sugar company plans to expand its existing distillery unit capacity from 188 KLD to 288 KLD (c heavy molasses/b heavy molasses/sugar syrup) with a co-gen power capacity of 9.8 MW. As of Jan 2023, the distillery capacity (Ethanol) will be increased from 150 KLPD to 250 KLPD with an investment of Rs.560 million.
