Project summary
A new Underground Coal Gasification plant is planned in Kasta, Nala, Jamtara, Jharkhand, to convert unmined coal into synthesis gas using injection and production wells. The ₹694.164 million project is set to begin construction in May 2025 and finish by December 2025. Environmental clearance is currently under review by the State Level Impact Assessment Authority.
