A steel manufacturer in Punjab, India plans to set up a new plant in Chattarpura village. It will initially produce 78 TPD steel ingots using a 6 TPH furnace, but aims to increase capacity to 150 TPD with a new 10 TPH furnace and rolling mill. Construction to begin Oct 2023, end June 2024, cost estimate is Rs. 137.906 million. Environment clearance underway as of Dec 2022.
