Project summary
A new steel manufacturing facility is planned at MIDC Industrial Area, Umred, Nagpur, Maharashtra. The project will produce 600,000 TPA of pickled hot-rolled, cold-rolled hard, galvanized/aluzinc, and color-coated coils/sheets. Construction is scheduled from July 2026 to April 2028, with an estimated investment of Rs.9,500 million. As of January 2026, the proposal is under review by the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority for environmental clearance.
