A new multi-feed distillery/ethanol plant, with a capacity of 100 KLD and a 4.0 MW captive power plant, is planned in Shasan, Hasanpur, Bihar. The project, costing Rs. 1620.2 million, will start construction in January 2025 and end in July 2025. As of May 2024, it is awaiting environmental clearance from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
