A leading sugar and bio-fuels production company is planning to expand its molasses-based distillery in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu. The project involves processing 1,14,702 MT/Annum of sugar syrup and 66,806 MT/Annum of grains to produce 200 KLPD of 1G ethanol. The estimated cost is Rs.11567.977 million with construction starting in December 2022 and ending in November 2023, with environment clearance underway as of November 2022.
