Project summary
A new opencast coal project is planned by Terri Mining in Jiyajori, Telbhita, Dahubera, Dumer (Palem), Pokeri, Jitpur, and Kairojori (Bara) villages, Jharkhand. The project aims to establish a 2.5 MTPA opencast coal mine within a 537.93-hectare area. The estimated cost is Rs. 10,700 million. Currently, the project is under examination for environmental clearance by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
