A new Rs. 3,100 million greenfield heavy metallurgical facility is planned for development in Giridih, Jharkhand. The plant will feature manufacturing capacities of 1,50,000 TPA pig iron, 1,05,000 TPA sponge iron, and 1,95,000 TPA sinter, powered by an integrated 22 MW captive plant. Environmental clearance processing began in June 2026, with construction scheduled for January to October 2027.
