A steel plant project is planned in Chhattisgarh, involving the setup of a plant for steel ingots/billets with a capacity of 144,000 TPA and a rolling mill for manufacturing rolled and structural products with a capacity of 105,000 TPA. The project also includes the construction of a rolling mill with a capacity of 24,000 TPA and an investment of Rs. 29.5 million. Construction is scheduled from January to December 2024, pending environmental clearance from the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority, which is currently under examination as of July 2023.
