A new ethanol distillery project in Daudpur, Sadar, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, involving a Grain-based Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) facility with 100 KLPD capacity and a 3 MW captive Electrical Power Plant. Estimated cost is Rs.1370 million. Construction began in September 2024, targeted for completion by September 2025. Under review by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change of India for environmental clearance as of April 2024.
