Project summary
A new grain-based distillery unit is being planned in Akaltara, Chhattisgarh by Shri Shyam Ethanol & Spirits. The project includes a 195 KLPD grain-based distillery and a 7.0 MW co-gen power plant, estimated at Rs. 2500 million. Construction began in May 2023 and is scheduled to conclude by May 2025. The project's environmental clearance process was submitted to the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority in January 2023.
