The project will manufacture defence-grade cartridges and weapon-related materials for armed forces, paramilitary forces and authorised security agencies. The first phase involves an investment of about Rs 1000 million, with commercial production targeted by the end of 2027. The project is aimed at strengthening indigenous defence manufacturing under the Make in India initiative.
