In March 2021, Sagar Manufacturers announced plans to expand the cotton spinning mill's capacity to 42,130 MT/yr and knitting capacity to 2,268.45 MT/yr at an estimated cost of Rs. 1900 million, and as of May 2022, the project involves further expansion to 52,930 MT/Y and 8,320 MT/Y respectively with a cost of Rs. 8120 million.
