Sagar Manufacturers is planning to establish a new cotton spinning mill project in Tamot, Goharganj, Raisen, Madhya Pradesh with a capacity of 33,330 MTPA and knitting with capacity of 2,268.450 MTPA at an estimated cost of Rs. 5820 million. The project has received consent from the state pollution control authorities. In March 2021, Sagar Manufacturers announced plans to expand the cotton spinning mill's capacity to 42,130 MT/yr and knitting capacity to 2,268.45 MT/yr at an estimated cost of Rs. 1900 million, and as of May 2022, the project involves further expansion to 52,930 MT/Y and 8,320 MT/Y respectively with a cost of Rs. 8120 million.
