    A fresh environmental clearance proposal has been filed for construction of a hospital-cum-medical college campus along with hostel buildings and staff quarters, spread over a built-up area of about 95,795 sqm on 5.31 hectares of privately acquired land. The project is expected to generate around 40 permanent and 500 temporary jobs during construction and roughly 400 permanent staff once operational. The proposal is currently under verification with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change under Category B2.

The proposal is currently under examination for Terms of Reference by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with physical construction yet to begin. The unit is designed to manufacture specialty pharmaceutical intermediates such as Pentosan Polysulphate Sodium, Calcium Folinate, Sodium Levo Folinate and 5-Fluoro Uracil.
