Rs.1950 Million New Wind-Solar Hybrid Project in India
SJVN, an Indian power company, plans to set up a 30 MW wind-solar hybrid project in India with an estimated cost of Rs. 1950 million. This move is in line with the Indian government's goal to achieve a renewable energy capacity of 175 GW by 2022. In May 2022, SJVN won its first-ever 30 MW wind-solar hybrid project through a tender floated by the Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI), highlighting the company's commitment to expanding its renewable energy portfolio.
