    Rs.750 Million New Ship Repair Facility in Guwahati, Assam

    * The Inland Waterways Authority of India plans to set up a new ship repair facility on 3.67 acres of land in Pandu, Guwahati. The project will cost an estimated Rs.750 million and will be executed in collaboration with the Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Ltd. The facility will boost the transportation of goods and people via inland waterways, enhance safety and reliability, and create local employment opportunities.
