    The Central PSU has proposed drilling of one exploratory well (CWAC) at South Kharatar, covering an area of 180.39 sq km across multiple villages in Jaisalmer District, Rajasthan. The project is currently under environmental clearance review with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with total land requirement of 1.69 hectares of non-forest land. Expected natural gas output is around 0.4 MMTOE, with construction/drilling activity yet to commence.
