Rs.4089 Million Eastern Region Electricity Transmission Expansion Project in Bihar and West Bengal
A major electricity transmission expansion project is planned in Bihar and West Bengal under the Eastern Region Expansion Scheme-44. The project, costing Rs.4,089.4 million, aims to strengthen regional power infrastructure. Construction is scheduled from November 2024 to May 2026. As of August 2025, the project has received Notice to Proceed and is being executed via the EPC route.
