    Rs.6270 Million New Standalone Battery Energy Storage System in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh

    Arunachal Pradesh From 5000 Million to 49999 Million

    A new standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is planned at the 400/220 kV Hindupur Substation in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. The project will have a capacity of 225 MW / 450 MWh, with an estimated cost of Rs.6,270 million. Construction is expected to be completed within 18 months from mid-2027, following the issuance of a Letter of Award by the state transmission authority.
