    A subsidiary of Coal India Limited is expanding its Lakhanpur Opencast mine in Odisha, increasing capacity from 18.75 MTPA to 21 MTPA, & increasing mine lease area by 2452 Ha. The project, estimated at Rs. 454.4 million, is underway & aims to meet demand for coal & contribute to regional economic growth with sustainable mining practices.
