    Bihar From 5000 Million to 49999 Million

    The project involves expanding sugarcane crushing capacity from 6000 TCD to 10000 TCD, cogeneration power capacity from 13 MW to 50 MW, and distillery capacity from 45 KLD to 500 KLD, along with installation of a new 300 KLD Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) unit at Riga, Sitamarhi district, Bihar. The proposal is currently under examination for Terms of Reference with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

  2. Environment Clearance Stage Paper Products Updated

    New tissue paper manufacturing unit proposed at Sasaram, Rohtas, Bihar

    A new unit for tissue paper production is being set up near Songawan village in Sasaram Block, Rohtas district, Bihar. The unit has been granted Consent to Establish by the State Pollution Control Board with a stated capacity of 2,500,000 Metric Tonnes/year covering tissue culture plantlets of Banana, Potato, Sugarcane, Strawberry, Pineapple and other horticulture crops. The project is currently at the environmental clearance stage, with the Consent to Establish valid for one year from date of issue.

    Rs.9047 Million New Grain-Based Ethanol Distillery in Jamui, Bihar

    A new grain-based ethanol distillery project is planned in Urva Village, Chakai Block, Jamui, Bihar, with a capacity of 750 KLPD and an associated 20 MW co-generation power plant. Estimated at Rs. 9,047.8 million, the project is under construction as of December 2025, with recruitment and commissioning activities expected to start around March–April 2026.

    Rs.1630 Million hospital-cum-medical college complex is coming up at Muzaffarpur, Bihar.

    A new integrated healthcare and medical education campus is being developed comprising a 605-bed hospital, a 100-seat medical college, OPD facilities for 1000 patients, boys'/girls' hostels for 400 students, and residential quarters for 80 staff. Construction consent has already been obtained and work is reported to be ongoing on part of the built-up area. The proposal is currently under verification with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for environmental clearance.

    A new poultry feed manufacturing unit with an estimated investment of Rs. 173.56 million is coming up in Dumaria Industrial Area, Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Spanning 87,120 square feet, the plant features an annual capacity of 80,000 MTPA. Following its submission in August 2025, the project officially secured approval from the State Investment Promotion Board Secretariat as of September 2026.
