The project will be developed in phases over roughly 30 years, with an initial exploration and pilot-testing phase planned between Q3 2026 and Q4 2027. Based on pilot results, the project could scale up to full commercial development producing syngas for fertilizer, chemical, and industrial feedstock applications.

The proposal is currently under environmental review by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with the existing facility already operational and the expansion yet to commence construction. Total land requirement is about 171.6 hectares, with over 2,100 permanent jobs expected once fully operational.
