Project summary
A new steel rolled products manufacturing project is planned in Chapabandi, Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal. It will install four 6-ton induction furnaces and a vertical caster, with a capacity of 84,000 TPA for rolled products and 80,640 TPA for MS billets. Estimated to cost Rs. 1,082.591 million, construction is set to start in March 2025, pending environmental clearance.
