Project summary
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways plans to develop a new six-lane expressway in Jammu and Kashmir. The project includes the development of the Jakh (Vijaypur)-Kunjwani section of NH-44 and NH-144A, with an estimated cost of Rs. 18217.2 million. The project has been sanctioned by the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, and will enhance connectivity, promote tourism and trade, and create job opportunities in the region.
