A new expressway project, Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway Phase-II Pkg-XV, is planned in Samba and Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir, covering Km 468.1 to Km 503.25. Estimated at Rs. 42,014 million, construction started in September 2022 and is expected to complete by February 2026. As of December 2025, the project is under implementation, with Vishwa Samudra Engineering Pvt Ltd as the contractor.
