Project summary
A new integrated steel facility is planned in Vijayanagar, Ballari, Karnataka, with an initial capacity of 5 MTPA. The project will expand ISP facilities to 10 MTPA, upgrade Blast Furnace-5 and SMS-4, and add new infrastructure, including a Pellet Plant and Lime/Dolomite kilns. The estimated cost is Rs. 190,000 million, with construction set to start in May 2026 and end in April 2029. Environmental clearance is pending.
