Project summary
A new greenfield steel plant is planned in Bhupendrapur, Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, featuring DRI kilns, induction furnaces, rolling mills, ferroalloy production, a ductile iron pipe plant, coal washery, power generation (36 MW WHRB & 14 MW AFBC), and a fly ash brick plant with railway siding. Estimated at Rs. 6,200 million, construction is scheduled from May 2027 to December 2029, with environmental clearance submitted as of January 2026.
