Project summary
A new greenfield steel plant is planned in Ameriakbari, Bilha, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, including production of sponge iron, MS billets, rerolled steel products, ferro alloys, a 24 MW captive power plant, a coal washery, and a fly ash bricks/blocks plant. The Rs. 3000 million project will start construction in March 2025 and finish by July 2026, pending environmental clearance.
