A new greenfield steel plant is planned in Hat Ashuria, Mauza-Basudevpur, P.S-Barjora, Bankura, West Bengal. The project involves setting up 2 Nos of 9 MVA furnaces for ferro alloys (24,000 TPA) and 1 No of 15 Ton induction furnaces for the billet plant (36,000 TPA). The estimated cost is Rs. 676 million. Environmental clearance is underway as of December 2019.
