Project summary
A West Bengal-based company is establishing a greenfield steel plant with production capacities of 500,000 MT/year for Fe-Si, Si-Mn, Fe-Mn, Fe-Cr, 110,000 MT/year via a 35 MT CLU, and 65,000 MT/year via a 6.5 MVA EAF. The project, costing ₹7,550 million, will run from June 2026 to December 2029. Environmental clearance has been submitted to the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority.
