A new grain-based distillery unit is planned in Naraingarh, Ambala, Haryana. It includes a molasses/grain-based distillery unit and malt spirits plant, with capacities of 320 KLPD and 6 KLPD respectively, costing Rs.5420 million. An expansion project adds a 180 KLD Grain-based Ethanol Plant under the Ethanol Blending Program (EBP), with an investment of Rs.2000 million. Environmental clearance is pending as of April 2024.
