A new ferro alloy plant is planned in Pubal, Sukinda, Jajapur, Odisha, featuring two 9 MVA submerged arc furnaces and two 3.5 MVA electric arc furnaces. With a total capacity of 48,000 TPA on 4.10 acres, the project costs Rs.1200 million. Construction begins in March 2025 and concludes by December 2028. Environmental clearance is pending from the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change as of July 2024.
