Project summary
A new multipurpose project is set to be constructed in Arunachal Pradesh, India, involving the creation of a 278-metre high dam, six head race tunnels and six tail race tunnels. The project is estimated to cost Rs. 280803.5 million and will generate 2880MW of power, producing 11223MU of energy in a 90% dependable year. Approval for pre-investment activities and obtaining various clearances was granted by the Prime Minister in March 2023.
