A 351 MW run-of-river hydroelectric scheme is proposed near village Lungte in Shi Yomi district, Arunachal Pradesh, harnessing a rated net head of 281.67 m on the Siyom river, a tributary of the Siang. The project comprises three main units of 110.66 MW each (332 MW) and two auxiliary units of 9.5 MW each (19 MW), with 404.93 Ha of forest land required and Stage-I forest clearance under process.
