Project summary
A new superspeciality hospital project in Assam aims to construct a wing with a built-up area of 24,182.3 sqm at Lakhimpur Medical College under the Assam Health System Strengthening Project funded by JICA. Estimated at Rs. 1,667.758 million, construction starts in November 2024, expected to finish by May 2027. The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change of India is examining the project for environmental clearance as of March 2024.
