Project summary
A new medical college and hospital complex is planned at Nalbari, Assam, comprising a 500-bed hospital building along with OPD Block, Mortuary Block, Academic Block, Central Workshop, Service Blocks and Residential Blocks spread over a built-up area of about 1,17,681 sq. m. The proposal is currently under verification with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for fresh Environmental Clearance. Construction is expected to generate significant employment during both construction and operational phases.
