    A greenfield Synthetic Organic Chemicals (Basic Organic Chemicals) manufacturing unit is proposed near Ouguri Chapori/Barganiagaon village in Morangi, Golaghat district, Assam, to produce Acetic Acid (165,000 TPA) and Formic Acid (72,600 TPA), totalling 237,600 TPA capacity. The proposal is currently under review with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of Terms of Reference, with construction not yet commenced.

    Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment and Disposal Facility in Cachar district, Assam

    A new Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment and Disposal Facility (CBWTF) with a capacity of 1150 TPA is proposed at Udarbandh, Cachar district, Assam, to collect, treat and dispose bio-medical waste from healthcare establishments within a roughly 75 km radius. The project has received Standard ToR from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and is currently at the pre-construction, environmental appraisal stage. Land for the facility (0.535 Ha, non-forest) has already been acquired through an executed land agreement.

Estimated project cost is Rs. 785.6 Million.

    Rs.3616 Million New Civil Enclave Development Project in Jorhat, Assam

    A Central PSU is developing a new civil enclave at Jorhat Airport in Assam, expanding the terminal building from 1,750 sq m to 12,550 sq m and apron area to 43,800 sq m, along with new dual link and link taxiways. The proposal is currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for Terms of Reference. Passenger handling capacity is planned to rise from 200 to 600 peak-hour passengers (0.61 MPPA) by 2035-36.
