Project summary
A Central PSU is developing a new civil enclave at Jorhat Airport in Assam, expanding the terminal building from 1,750 sq m to 12,550 sq m and apron area to 43,800 sq m, along with new dual link and link taxiways. The proposal is currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for Terms of Reference. Passenger handling capacity is planned to rise from 200 to 600 peak-hour passengers (0.61 MPPA) by 2035-36.
