A massive integrated steel plant and sponge iron complex is being established in the Silpahari Industrial Area of Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. The modern industrial facility will yield 225,000 MTPA of sponge iron, 209,000 MTPA of billets via induction furnaces, a 100,000 TPA rolling mill, and a 19,800 MTPA oxygen unit. As of June 2026, the project has officially received formal Consent to Establish from state pollution control boards.
