A 10 GW ingot-and-wafer manufacturing facility is planned at Gopalpur, Odisha, after the company evaluated incentives and infrastructure support against a rival Andhra Pradesh location. The plant will be built in two 5 GW phases, with the first phase expected to start operations in January 2028 and the second about six months later. Land at the site, part of a special economic zone being developed by a group company, was already acquired, allowing quick progress.
