A steel manufacturer in Dhasal, West Bengal, is expanding its plant, including upgrading 3x12 T induction furnaces to 3x15 T, adding a new 1x15 T furnace, enhancing a rolling mill from 75,000 TPA to 1,44,000 TPA, installing 2x350 TPD DRI kilns, a 20 MW power plant, and a 100 TPD winding wire unit. The Rs.1700 million project, running January 2025–December 2027, is under environmental clearance.
