Rs.910 Million Calcined Petroleum Coke Expansion Plant in Purba Medinipur, West Bengal
A company plans to expand its calcined petroleum coke plant in Haldia, West Bengal, by adding a vertical shaft calcination kiln, electrically calcined anthracite plant, and graphite furnaces. The expansion includes reviving an old carbon paste plant, with an estimated cost of Rs.3450 million. Construction is set from May 2024 to June 2026. As of December 2023, the project is under examination for environmental clearance, submitted to the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change of India.
